Gildeas has been shortlisted for the first time in the final of the prestigious Law Awards of Scotland.
The firm was chosen by competition judges to contest four categories in the final in Glasgow on September 12.
They are Up and Coming Law Firm of the Year, a testimony to the performance of all the staff at Gildeas;
Criminal Law Firm of the Year, for the performance of Paul Kavanagh and his team over the past 12 months;
Support Team of the Year, for the efforts of Helen Johnston and everyone in the Cash Room; and finally
David McKee for Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year, for his impact since joining Gildeas.
The finalists were unveiled last night (July 18) at a reception at The Corinthian in Glasgow.
Senior partner Sanjeev Bali said:" I'm delighted that we have been shortlisted for so many categories. It is just reward for the individuals and individual departments for the effort they put in day in, day out.
"The nomination for Up and Coming Law Firm of the Year is a tribute to the performance of every member of staff at Gildeas. So well done to you all."
